Peter Bruce was born in Australia and spent much of his life traveling the globe. He's a seasoned professional, experienced in many styles of photography.  During his career, Peter has worked with the Melbourne Opera as well as shooting for major movie studios in Hollywood. 

In the past, Peter has taken pictures of stars including Michael Caine, Elton John, Dustin Hoffman, Frank Sinatra, Peter Gabriel, Eddie Albert, Corbin Bernsen, Seymore Caselle, David Carradine, James Coburn, Bill Cosby, Kim Delaney, Matt Dillon, Charles Durning, Giancarlo Esposito, Johnny Gill, Robin Givens, Dana Gould, Englebert Humperdink, Brian James, Beverly Johnson, Donal Louge, Ed McMahon, John Savage, Jerry Seinfeld, Jimmy Smits, Kevin Spacey, Ming-Na Wen and Vanessa Williams.

Peter’s longest and most rewarding career, however, has been in wedding photography.  His philosophy is this: simply put, it's your day. Not the photographer's. Peter’s job is to capture the beauty of your celebration without interfering. To be a helpful presence. And to treat your wedding as something that's unique as you are, not as a photography package. One size does not fit all!

Peter and his wife Kathleen live in San Francisco with their two daughters Sophia and Charly, and a big happy dog named Dude. 

Peter has worked with several charities over the years, including the F.I.R.E. and Dulaan projects (providing clothing for homeless children) and with the Smile Train.
